We're launching Scayl in Movember

We're really excited to officially announce the launch of Scayl. To coincide with our launch, the team are also supporting Movember...

For those of you that don't already know, Scayl, initially known as YOLO Machines, started in 2017. A brainwave to solve a problem we had with packaging for our sister company BRUU - The Gourmet Tea Club. Each month, we were packing hundreds of bags of loose leaf tea, with a lot of time, effort, and wastage. When BRUU started to scale up, packing by hand was no longer feasible. When we looked to semi-automate the process, we were horrified to find that entry-level machinery was way out of our budgets. We set about developing a packaging machine, to precisely dispense our loose tea into bags. We were so pleased with how the machines worked that we couldn't keep them a secret and so a new business was launched.

YOLO Machines grew so quickly, that we felt the business needed its own identity, so with much excitement, we are relaunching as Scayl.

Our mission at Scayl is to help your business grow. We have several machines, to suit any packaging requirement. As well as offering machinery we are also offering other consultancy services, backed by our experience in the retail space for over the last 10 years.

To support the launch, we are donating to Movember, the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. They are addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

They know what works for men, and how to find and fund the most innovative research to have both a global and local impact. They are independent of government funding, so can challenge the status quo and invest quicker in what works. In 15 years they've funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world. By 2030 they’ll reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.

At this point we would like to give a huge thank you to our team for bravely volunteering their support for the campaign, bearing all, with some fabulous facial hair. They have taken one for the team, so to speak.
