How It Works

1. Fastback Feeder
   The Fastback Feeder gently and evenly transfers crisps from the fryer or cooler to the next stage of the line. Its slow forward motion minimises product breakage and maintains uniform flow, ensuring the crisps arrive intact for flavouring.

2. Inspection Conveyor
   Before seasoning or packaging, crisps pass along the Inspection Conveyor where operators or vision systems can quickly remove any off-spec or damaged products. This step helps maintain consistent product quality and appearance.

3. 4 x Border Flex Belt Conveyors
   The Border Flex Belt Conveyors provide smooth and controlled product movement between key stages. They carry unseasoned crisps to the Vibratory Feeder, and then transport flavoured crisps to the Multihead Weighers. Their flexible, food-grade design reduces breakage and contamination while keeping the production line continuous.

4. Vibratory Feeder
   The Vibratory Feeder ensures an even, consistent flow of crisps into the Flavour Drums. Its adjustable vibration frequency allows precise product control — vital for uniform seasoning distribution and product quality.

5. 2 x Flavour Drums
   Each Flavour Drum automatically tumbles the crisps while evenly coating them with seasoning. Designed for hygiene and efficiency, the drums use a gentle tumbling motion to ensure every crisp is coated without crushing or damage.

6. 2 x Loss-in-Weight Scales
   The Loss-in-Weight Scales precisely measure and dispense the seasoning powder or liquid according to the target ratio. This ensures accurate flavouring control, consistent taste, and reduced seasoning waste across the production line.

7. 2 x Multi-1016 Combination Weighers
   The Multi-1016 weighers calculate and release the exact portion of crisps for each bag using multihead combination weighing technology. They deliver exceptional speed and accuracy, maintaining consistent target weights even with fragile products like crisps.

8. 2 x Working Platforms
   Each Working Platform supports the multihead weighers and provides safe, easy access for cleaning, maintenance, and inspection. Built from food-grade stainless steel, they meet hygiene standards and ensure long-term durability.

9. 2 x Doypack 300D Machines
   The Doypack 300D automatically opens, fills, and seals pouches or bags at high speed, creating retail-ready, air-tight packaging that preserves crisp freshness and crunch. Suitable for a wide range of pouch styles including stand-up, flat, or resealable bags.

10. 2 x Output Conveyors
    The Output Conveyors smoothly transport sealed bags from the Doypack machines to the collection area. Their continuous flow keeps production efficient and organised.

11. 2 x Rotary Collect Tables
    Finished, sealed bags are collected on Rotary Tables, allowing for easy inspection, packing into cartons, or transfer to palletising. The rotating design ensures efficient product accumulation without interrupting production flow.
